BARBERINO DI MUGELLO
The theatre in Barberino di Mugello was built to substitute the old structure of the previous theatre, built in 1903, by the Accademia degli Arrischiati. Today this structure houses theatrical performances, projections of films, meetings and it is generally used for cultural and assassociative activities.

BORGO SAN LORENZO
Cinema - theatre Giotto
This structure, founded in 1872, was originally a theatre for opera and prose, but from the beginning of the 20th century, it turned into a cinema. Later, during the '60-'70, the building has been conformed to the aseismic rules, and it has partially changed its old aspect, loosing the internal decorations in liberty style.
Today the activity of this cinema/theatre is largely based on films, but it houses also theatrical performances.

Cinema - theatre Don Bosco
This cinema was built in 1936, when the Salesians Insitute opened a little theatre, which could house till 200 people. In the Fourties the structure was adapted for film projections; later it was renovated many times, the last time at the beginnings of the Nineties. It has always mantained an intense activity above all as a cinema for films projections.

Cinema - theatre Don Otello Puccetti
The structure is a property of the church of San Giovanni Battista, and it was reopened to the public in November 1999, after many years.
Today it has an important part in the cultural and associative life and it proposes various activities. Besides the projection of films, there are laboratory for schools and also for adults and theatrical performances.

Cinema - theatre Animosi
This theatre was founded at the end of 1700 and has been seat of the Animosi Academy till 1938. From 1970 to 1997 it has been closed because it was unfit for use. Now it is open only sometimes for particular celebrations such as those dedicated to Dino Campana, the poet born in Marradi. The opening of the hall coincided with a new period of its activities, today they are a great number: exhibitions, meeting, dance school, theatre lab, recording hall, disco and cinema.

In the October 2001, after many years, Garibaldi hall has reopened thanks to Arzach Association, which has promoted theatrical activities for children, musical, cultural events, and projections of films.

This theatre was realized at the beginning of the 20th century by stock society "Società Umberto I"; after some passages, in 1984 the structure was closed to be conformed to the rules and it has reopened finally in 1994. Today the theatre houses different kind of activities, the most important is undoubtely the projection of films.
