Mugello offers many ways to live the nature. It is possible to organize different kind of trip for difficulty or length, riding bicycles or horses, or simply walking.
TREKKING - PATH OF MONTE CALVI
Starting from Sant'Agata, a little division of Scarperia, go toward Monte Calvi. Here in the Thirties was planted a pine forest, reproducing with its trees disposition the geographical map of Italy in the fascist period before the war. From it you can enjoy a wonderful view of the intere valley. From Monte Calvi go down to Lumena, a little village where nowadays live very few people, from here go back to Sant'Agata.
If you like a longer but simple and suggestive walk this rute is fitted for you!
