Also known as the Sanctuary of  "Madonna del Sasso", to this shrine, dating back to the fifteenth century, are attributed many miraculous apparitions of the Virgin.

The sanctuary was built in 1490 on the ruins of a medieval origin' chapel.
The Sanctuary of  Madonna delle Grazie  is located in the town of Pontassieve. Currently the building, remodeled over the centuries, has a lower and an upper chapel, preceded by a portico dating back to 600.
In the inside are works of great historical value: a table of the first '400 depicting a "Madonna and Child with Saints John the Baptist and Leonardo", attributed to John Benintendi (also called "the Ceraiolo"), a painting of the Florentine school of the firsts years of the XVIII sec. entitled:  "The transit of St. Joseph" , and a painting by Francesco Curradi depicting the Virgin.
